Brief description of course and learning outcomes:

Advance Diploma in Caregiving is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge, skills, and competencies required for a professional career in caregiving that includes elders, infants and physically challenged.


Course Objectives:
To provide students with a deep understanding of caregiving principles, including ethics, empathy, and patient rights. To equip students with basic medical knowledge and healthcare skills necessary for providing care to individuals with various health conditions. Upon completion of the Higher Diploma in Caregiving, graduates should be prepared to work as compassionate and skilled caregivers, providing high-quality care to individuals in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centres, and home care environments.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Age 17

English language proficiency, the candidates must have English subject minimum of grade C6 at ‘O’ level. The candidates should have a minimum of grade E at GCE ‘A’ Level in any 2 subjects or equivalent.
